Job summary

Lam Research in the United States is hiring a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair and maintenance of semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and implement corrective actions while minimizing downtime, with on-the-job training for installation, start-up, or relocation.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, can travel domestically and internationally, and are comfortable in cleanroom environments wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with no prior professional experience or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Able to work in a clean room environment while wearing PPE.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair and maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and diagnose issues.
• Minimize downtime and system interruptions.
• Identify corrective actions and seek guidance as needed.
