Job summary

Nikon Precision Inc. (NPI) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service and support for Nikon lithography tools at customer facilities. Responsibilities include installation, upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

You will troubleshoot, interpret schematics, and work with customers under service agreements. Travel, both domestic and international, may be required but is typically under 10% of time.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of Electronics and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge/experience in Optics and Pneumatics.
• Hands-on ability and self-motivated to learn on the job.
• Proficient with common electronic diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on Nikon equipment interpreting schematics and diagrams.
• Provide on-site service for customers as per service agreement.
• May install or relocate customer equipment and perform startup and checkout procedures.
• Report and communicate technical issues and contribute to documentation.
