Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities near Raleigh or Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves startup of automatic transfer switches, warranty work, and on-site repairs with a strong customer focus.

The candidate should have a 3+ year background in field service engineering, electrical power knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. Travel up to 80% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years Field Service Engineering experience.
• Electrical power knowledge from low to medium voltage switchgear.
• Experience testing automatic transfer switches.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints for power control and automation.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong customer service and on-time project execution.

Responsibilities

• Support automatic transfer switch startups, maintenance and warranty work.
• Provide technical field support for startups, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Travel up to 80% to customer sites.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory compliance in all activities.
• Maintain clear client communication and manage scope and charges where needed.
