Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in the Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas. Responsibilities include startups, warranty work, and preventive maintenance across to 80% travel.

Required 3+ years in field service engineering for power facilities, with AT switch testing, schematics reading, and strong customer-facing skills. Valid driver’s license and US work authorization are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in field service engineering for critical power facilities.
• Experience with low to medium voltage switchgear in data centers and airports.
• Experience with automatic transfer switch testing.
• Reading schematics and blueprints for power control and automation.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong client interaction and ability to manage projects to time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Support startups, warranty work, and preventive maintenance contracts.
• Travel up to 80% to client sites in the Ohio area.
• Supervise safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clients in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Coordinate with customers to scope and negotiate additional work.
