Job summary

TPS in New Columbia, PA, is seeking a field service technician to install, service and repair industrial ovens, environmental chambers and related equipment under the Tenney, Blue M and Gruenberg brands.

Candidates should have an AA or equivalent, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 85% to customer sites domestically and internationally; PLCs, VFDs and electrical know-how are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and plumbing diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs and services equipment at customer facilities to specifications.
• Troubleshoots and repairs units prior to shipment and on-site.
• Coordinates with engineering and service teams to expedite repairs.
• Develops and conducts training on safe operation of equipment.
• Writes corrective action reports and communicates issues to management.
