Job summary

EPC Power Corp. is seeking a Field Service Representative to support on-site and remote customer equipment, performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning of EPC Power conversion systems.

The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams. Travel up to 75% for field assignments, with a requirement to understand safety policies and to communicate progress clearly to customers and supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field or years of experience troubleshooting/repairing electro-mechanical systems or equipment
• Ability to understand and comply with all customer and EPC Power safety policies.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally overnight, as needed, up to 75% of the time (typically 25%)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand, sit, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair services while working independently or in a dynamic team environment both on customer sites and remotely.
• Ensure all customer expectations are met or exceeded and that on-site activities comply with EPC Power recommendations and best practices.
• Travel up to 75% as needed to support field assignments across locations.
• Accurately report and update equipment histories and coordinate changes to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret applicable drawings and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair components.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to support project goals.
• Maintain on-site safety by attending safety meetings and trainings and suggesting safety improvements.
