Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, repair, and preventive maintenance on power distribution equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, document field data, and collaborate with project teams to resolve escalated problems.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in field service, UPS system experience, and strong reading of schematics. Travel, safety compliance, and ongoing training are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade/vocational cert in electrical disciplines.
• 7+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• Read blueprints/schematics and interpret schematics/drawings.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power and distribution components.
• OSHA/NFPA-70E experience preferred.
• Safe driving and vehicle operation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, and project teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and data sheets.
• Work with manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Continuing training and on-the-job learning in field and classrooms.
