Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service professional to provide onsite customer support and system operation assistance in a high-tech environment. You will liaise with customers on technical matters, perform maintenance, and document detailed service reports.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, safety awareness, and proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and PLC GUI tools, with opportunities to work across site roles and ensure credentialing compliance.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technologies or 2 years of relevant military/high-tech experience.
Able to work at heights above 20 feet or in cramped spaces.
English fluency in written and spoken.
Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving mindset.
Ability to troubleshoot using technical drawings and root-cause methodologies.
Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical tooling.
Fundamental knowledge of computer and network systems.
Experience in High-Tech or Military technical support roles.

Responsibilities

Provide highly visible customer support including assistance in operating the system.
Serve as a company liaison with the customer on technical and administrative matters.
Perform all operational quality checks including planned maintenance in a timely manner.
Provide accurate, detailed and concise field service reports.
Complete required assignments, service bulletins and upgrades on time.
Complete mandatory training and certifications to maintain FDA compliance.
Become proficient in internal software applications (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Siemens PLC GUI, Varian tools).
Support other field service site roles as needed (Safety Coordinator, Inventory Controller).
Meet all vendor credentialing requirements to gain client site access.
