Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to service automated semiconductor equipment in customer facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade systems, while maintaining documentation and coordinating with customers and peers.

Ideal candidates have engineering electronics education, hands-on repair experience, and strong customer interaction skills; military experience is considered. Travel up to 0-100% may apply depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electronics, engineering or related field preferred; HS/GED minimum.
• Professional electrical/mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience.
• Military experience considered in place of educational requirements.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is valuable for this team.
• Excellent customer interface skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools.

• Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both company and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

Physical Requirements

Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

Travel varies based on team: 0-100% travel teams available with added financial incentive.
