Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to service and repair automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform upgrades and installations, and train customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.

Role requires strong electrical/mechanical repair skills, excellent customer interaction, and the ability to coordinate with peers and customers to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electronics, engineering or related field preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Professional electrical/mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is valuable.
• Military experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• Excellent customer interface skills required.

• Orders and installs new parts
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
• Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
• Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
• Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both company and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

Optional Travel Requirement

Travel varies based on team: 0-100% travel teams available with added financial incentive.
