DTE is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, commission, service and troubleshoot our metal production analytics solutions at customer sites across the United States.
This hands-on role involves 75% travel, training operators, providing on-site and remote support, and collaborating with customers during installation and start-up.
Candidates should have a technical degree, 3+ years in field service or technical support, strong problem-solving, and a safety-focused mindset.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years field service or technical support with electronic/industrial equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting automated control systems.
- Strong safety, reliability, and quality mindset.
- Willingness for 50% travel and US-wide deployments.
- Excellent English communication.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service metal production devices at customer sites.
- Ensure installations and service work meet high standards of quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Implement DTE solutions and train customer operators.
- Service, maintain, and repair installed solutions for reliable operation, including remote support.
- Confirm customer site readiness and flag gaps before installation.
- Participate in on-call rota for remote and on-site support.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering for continuous improvement.
