DTE is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, commission, service and troubleshoot DTE solutions at customer sites across the United States. You will travel roughly 75% to support operations and deployments, working hands-on with industrial technology in demanding environments.

You will configure equipment, train operators, provide remote and on-site support, and communicate with customers throughout installation and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in assembly, field service, or technical support with electronic/industrial equipment.
• Troubleshooting methodologies for automated control systems and logic.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Safety, reliability, and quality focus; able to pass site checks.

Responsabilités

• Receive, unpack, install, and commission metal production analytical devices at customer sites.
• Ensure installations and service work meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Implement DTE solutions and train customer operators to use them.
• Service, maintain, and repair installed solutions to ensure reliable operation and maximize value for DTE customers, including remote technical support.
• Confirm customer site readiness ahead of installation — power, utilities, access, lifting, and safety approvals — and flag gaps early.
• Participate in the on-call rota for remote and on-site support, responding within agreed service commitments.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to drive continuous improvement.
