Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting and installation techniques.
• Capable of mechanical press repair in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (90%).

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, maintenance installation & commissioning of Nidec Minster stamping presses and coil line systems.
• Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customer's plants.
• Audit customer's metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found.
• Provide written and oral reports in English in an accurate and professional manner.
• Promote service parts and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Work flexible hours to support customer service needs including any portion of a 24-hour day 7 days a week
