Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Davenport, IA seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain medical laboratory analyzers and automated robotic lab instrumentation. The role requires overnight travel and a solid electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate or AAS in electronics and at least 3 years in field service within the medical device sector; vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools and spare parts.
• Provide basic on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.
