Job summary

Spectrum Dynamics seeks a high-performing Field Service Engineer to drive customer satisfaction and service growth for VERITON SPECT/CT and D-SPECT product lines. You will execute service strategies, perform onsite and remote support, and work with engineers to improve product reliability and serviceability.

The role requires a Biomedical/ Electrical Engineering background, hands-on field service experience with medical imaging equipment, and willingness to travel to support US and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• 3 years of experience servicing/installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET, Nuclear preferred).
• Strong computer/software installation and upgrade skills.
• Able to travel to support locations in the US and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for break-fix issues related to software, hardware, and IT.
• Execute system installations, field upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Identify resources needed for timely problem resolution.
• Directly engage with customers and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Support new product introductions and first-of-kind installations.
• Provide status reports to internal/external support teams.
• Collaborate with sales and application teams to resolve issues and drive revenue.
