Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical imaging equipment in the Kansas City, MO area. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing imaging systems and could cross-train into other modalities.

You are the face of the company at customer sites and must manage relationships professionally. Expect responsibilities include diagnostic support, potential shift rotations, overtime as needed, and reporting to the Regional Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Proficient in MS Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
• Strong background with electronics and service/test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and modify medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Install and troubleshoot imaging systems in customer environments.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and peers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary administrative duties on time.
