Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Albany/Cooperstown, New York area. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites while ensuring outstanding customer relationships and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role requires 1+ year in imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries, an associate degree in electronics, and the ability to travel up to 70% with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in diagnostic imaging service (field or hospital) or 3+ years in other electromechanical industries.
• Experience with diagnostic x-ray/cardiovascular/cath labs/image guided therapy equipment preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations; travel up to ~70%.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments and timelines.
• Complete administrative tasks (timesheets, service work orders, PMs, FCOs, installation docs) per regs.
• Travel 70% across Albany/Cooperstown and surrounding area; occasional overnight travel may be required.
