Job summary

Insightec in Northern California is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install and maintain MRI systems in a highly technical, patient-focused setting. The role requires travel up to ~80% and involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing remote support, and documenting service activity.

The ideal candidate holds an AS in Electrical/Biomedical/Computer Engineering (BS preferred) with 3+ years in field service for medical imaging equipment and a strong systems understanding.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering is required or BS preferred.
• At least 3 years of field service for medical systems; MRI experience preferred 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of capital equipment service and multidisciplinary systems.

Responsibilities

• Installation/implementation of new systems.
• Periodic maintenance and system repairs.
• Providing technical remote support for systems.
• System troubleshooting and diagnosis of source of failures.
• Maintenance and service reporting / documentation.
