Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities, build strong customer relationships, and drive a first-time fix through effective problem solving.

Remote/central location in Columbus, OH with regional travel across NY, PA, OH, IN, KY, TN; must have a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and 25–60% overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science, or equivalent military experience.
• 1+ year of experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges with instrumentation using a variety of methods.

Responsibilities

• Service Beckman Coulter products at the customer facility.
• Cultivate customer relationships and support commercial initiatives.
• Drive a sense of urgency to ensure the customer needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on a “first time fix” through the problem-solving process.
