Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support customers using MLD and RRD products across the MD/VA/DC area. You will work with internal teams to keep customers operating smoothly and travel extensively within the region.

Qualified candidates have a 3+ year track record in technical customer service or field service engineering in life sciences or regulated tech environments. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting skills using documented procedures and tools.
• 3+ years in technical customer service, field service engineering, or related roles.
• Experience in laboratory, life science, or regulated technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer service for MLD and RRD products, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution support.
• Support installation, qualification, preventive maintenance, and service activities in the field as needed.
• Translate customer issues into clear, actionable updates for internal teams to drive timely fixes and continuous improvement.
• Travel throughout the MD/DC area and the Philadelphia and greater PA/NJ territory (≈80% travel), with overnight possibilities.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and follow defined processes to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
