Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Boston/NYC/Stamford to install, modify, repair and maintain our life sciences equipment at customer sites.

You will work under supervision to ensure SLA compliance, perform preventive maintenance, submit service reports, and support customers through troubleshooting and data migration tasks. International travel may be required; an AS degree or technical certificate with 5+ years of related experience, plus strong electrical and mechanical

• Requires AS degree or technical certificate and 5+ years related experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background.
• Excellent communication and ability to interface with customers.
• Systematic troubleshooting with independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Interface with customers to ensure SLA compliance and satisfaction.
• Submit service reports and adapt to changing priorities.
• Provide weekly system performance summaries and root-cause analysis.
• Assist with sample migration and data-related tasks.
