Summary
Able to repair, maintain, install, and relocate ARKRAY medical diagnostic equipment in point of care and clinical laboratory environments. Use technical knowledge of ARKRAY diagnostic systems to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in a team that resolves customer problems and issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Provide excellent customer service during on-site service calls and over the phone.
- Respond to customer needs by diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining ARKRAY medical diagnostic equipment, documenting activities in service orders and supporting documentation.
- Respond promptly to service dispatches, contact customers, arrive on-site timely, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Schedule and complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) on time within your territory.
- Participate and give constructive feedback to improve the effectiveness, productivity, and cost controls related to service.
Processes and Procedures
- Review service documentation for accuracy and ensure use of current revisions.
- Maintain Instrument Device History Records and monitor software upgrades and modifications.
- Complete all ARKRAY Field Service training programs successfully.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical School (Electronics).
- 3-5+ years’ experience in repair, maintenance, and installation of medical diagnostic equipment used in laboratories.
- Proficiency in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and fluidics.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education and reviewing technical bulletins.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Willingness to travel 75% throughout the continental United States.
- Maintain credentials through companies such as VendorMate and Reptrax.
