Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Field Service Engineer Level 3 to perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting on electrical distribution and critical power systems at customer sites across the United States. You will own assigned scopes, support commissioning, and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities include interpreting diagrams, performing insulation resistance and continuity tests, and ensuring safety compliance per NFPA 70E and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of field service experience with LV/MV switchgear, breakers, ATS, generators.
• Ability to read schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Strong safety compliance and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventive maintenance and testing on LV/MV switchgear, breakers, ATS, RPPs, and PDUs.
• Support commissioning activities including pre-energization checks and functional testing.
• Lead portions of job execution and mentor junior technicians.
• Document service activities and maintain punch lists and field reports.
