Job summary

Acuative is seeking a Data Center & Route Switch Field Service Technician to cover Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. The role includes installation and maintenance of networking hardware, telephony systems, and retail technology in diverse environments.

The position offers full-time employment, paid training, a company vehicle and gas card, and overtime opportunities. Candidates should be willing to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling, and PBX certifications are a plus.
• Candidate must have valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems such as POS, digital signage, and video surveillance.
• Perform site surveys/audits and cabling/extensions.
• Travel to customer sites and document work promptly.
