Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on E.C.R. etching systems across the United States.

You will work with multiple subsystems and report to the Hitachi Technical Supervisor, with a hybrid work style and overtime as needed. The role requires 3–5+ years in semiconductor equipment repair (Senior) or 1–3+ years (II), a strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5+ years experience repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment (senior) or 1–3+ years (II).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Address service-related issues at customer sites and provide training to customers and new field engineers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior field engineers and customers.
• Install systems at customer sites and complete field service documentation.
