Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Engineer I to perform on-time preventive maintenance across multiple modalities, learning troubleshooting from experienced engineers, and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. This is a remote role that requires onsite work at customer locations, with residency in Southern Wisconsin and Madison preferred.

Key duties include installations, PMs, basic repairs, communicating with customers and teammates, and contributing to revenue programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR GEHC internship or externship program; OR HS diploma with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete Installations, Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and repairs.
• Assist experienced engineers with equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and service designated equipment under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Partner with customers to recommend value-added services.
