Job summary

Acuative Corporation is seeking a Networking Field Service Technician (1099) to install and maintain networking hardware, telephony equipment, and retail technology systems. This contract role can involve 4-hour response times and 2–4 hour on-site completion, depending on assignments and travel needs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with networking products and interfacing.
• Understanding of telephony systems (VOIP, PBX, Key Systems) with hands-on hardware and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of computing systems hardware with break/fix capabilities for desktops/servers.
• Ability to follow detailed job documents.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems – POS, Digital Signage, and Video Surveillance.
• Handle circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and site audits.
• Submit all job-related documents and deliverables accurately and timely.
• Install LEO Satellite receivers, cables and hardware.
• Install Fixed Wireless Antennas and related hardware.
