Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Manassas, VA. The role involves on-site maintenance and repair at a client's facility, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.

Daily duties include learning from the previous shift, coordinating with the client's leadership, and delivering clear, timely documentation. Candidates with military experience and an associates in electronics or engineering are encouraged to apply;

Qualifications

• 1–2 years (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) of maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Military background.
• Experience with safety protocols and robotics equipment.
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment, preferably surface prep systems (SPS).
• Military MOS experience: Avionics Technician, Load Master, Electronics Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance and repair support at the client's facility.
• Learn from the previous shift what activities were completed and what is pending.
• Meet with the client leadership to discuss critical updates and priorities for the day.
• Maintain thorough documentation and provide updates to the team and in the system.

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for working onsite at one of their clients in Manassas, Virginia. Acting as the support representative assisting in any repairs or routine maintenance of their equipment. Each day you will begin by learning from the previous shift what activities were completed and what is still pending completion. You will also sit down with the clients leadership team to discuss any critical updates and align on priorities for that day. Strong documentation and communication skills is a must for this team as you will be responsible for providing updates to the team directly along with documentation inside of their tool.
