Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer II - Security Systems (Access Control) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support on-premises access control at customer facilities. You will operate from Baton Rouge, LA, servicing industrial sites, refineries, chemical plants, and LNG facilities, ensuring reliable security operations and high customer satisfaction.

You will work with Honeywell hardware and software such as EBI and DVM, perform installs, integrations, and routine maintenance,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or electronic security systems.
• Experience with access control hardware and low-voltage wiring.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders or lifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain Honeywell access control and security systems.
• Install and service access control panels, readers, cameras, and door hardware.
• Assist with commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose hardware, network, and software issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and backups.
• Document service visits and configurations accurately.
• Ensure safety policies and industry standards are followed.
