Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Technician to support on-site installation, upgrades, start-up, and maintenance of automation control systems for customers across the West and Midwest. You will travel up to 60%, provide diagnostics and repairs, install new software, document work, and ensure safety and quality on site.

A high school diploma is required; 1 year of technical experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to obtain L3 CEAT certification are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required for this role.
• At least 1 year in engineering or technical field or military electronics experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%.
• Commitment to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT (QCS L3) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• 40% onsite coverage at a key customer site; 60% roaming engineer travel to multiple locations.
• Provide technical support, equipment maintenance, installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues on Honeywell QCS/EPKS platforms.
• Mentor peers and document work for preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to meet commitments.
• Maintain antivirus and Windows OS updates across customer sites.
