Job summary

Honeywell International Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, upgrade, and maintain Honeywell automation control systems at customer sites in the Northwest. The role involves on-site coverage at client sites, roaming to multiple locations, and on-call support to maximize equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in an engineering/technical role, a valid driver's license, and is willing to pursue L3 CEAT certification over 18 months.

Qualifications

• Background checks and drug screening are required.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year in engineering or technical field, or military electronics.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%.
• 18 months to obtain L3 CEAT (QCS L3) certification while performing duties.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk up to 8 hours.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• 1+ year of system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• 1+ year of using diagnostic tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance, upgrades, start-up, and support for Honeywell QCS and EPKS/DCS platforms.
• Roaming engineer: travel to multiple customer sites for technical support and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues; document work and prepare monthly reports.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with Global Technical Assistance Center.
• Coordinate with customers, operators, vendors, and Honeywell personnel to meet commitments.
• Perform standby on-call duty and ensure antivirus and Windows updates across sites.
