Job summary
Honeywell Technologies is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance and modernization of automation control systems across customer sites. You will travel up to 60% to multiple locations, provide diagnostics, start-up services, and routine maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in engineering or technical fields, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in engineering or a technical field or military electronics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%.
- Comfort with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficient using diagnostic tools and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site installation, upgrades, start-up, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems.
- Roaming engineer: travel to multiple customer locations delivering technical support.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform diagnostics, and install new systems or replace parts.
- Document work and complete preventive maintenance checklists.
- Coordinate with customer plant operators and Honeywell personnel.
- Participate in projects such as upgrades or new functionality for customers.
- Maintain antivirus and Windows OS updates across customer sites.
