Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician I to support commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and retrofit of mechanical and electrical systems on projects.

You will interface with QA, project engineers, and client personnel; cross-train in controls and electrical systems is required; travel is extensive. Responsibilities include compiling O&M information, transmitting critical data during projects, and assisting in final IOM manual sets, with quality assurance involvement and potential

Qualifications

• 2 years project field experience in construction support, startup, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with verification of compliance with ASHRAE, ASME, and other relevant codes and practices.
• Ability to travel extensively to both domestic and international job sites.
• Must have or can obtain safety certifications including OSHA10 General Construction and NFPA-70E.

Responsibilities

• Compile O&M information and transmit critical O&M information during a project.
• Assist in compilation of the final sets of IOM manuals.
• Direct the field commissioning of a project and provide documented commissioning of mechanical and electrical portions.
• Close interface with Field Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers, and client personnel.
• Assist in Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions.
• Perform or oversee QC checks as designated by TAS.
