Job summary

Honeywell INC. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide ongoing service support for Honeywell QCS and CWS platforms in the Pensacola area. This role requires on-site, in-person attendance and strong customer-facing communication.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot control systems, calibrate sensors, and generate reports for client reviews while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with basic Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

• Troubleshoot system and process problems and implement fixes.
• Calibrate sensors and verify sensor operation.
• Publish Monthly Performance, Results, and Correction Action Reports.
• Interface with customers at all levels to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide occasional vacation coverage and 24/7 emergency support.

As a Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will provide continuing service support for Honeywell QCS and CWS platforms used in Pulp and Paper and other associated industries in the Pensacola, FL area on an in-person work schedule.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Emergency Support maintenance of customers for various Honeywell Quality Control Systems (QCS).
• Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.
• Perform sensor verification and calibration.
• Publish critical reporting to customers including Monthly Performance, Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.
• Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
• Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customer and other technicians.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• Associate's Degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in areas such as Honeywell QCS platforms, Electronics, Process Control, Information Technologies or military
• 1 year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience
• Valid Driver's license

We Value

• 5 years of experience maintaining Honeywell QCS Platforms and MD and CD Control packages
• Be able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems
• Capable of developing new PMS for existing and new products as knowledge is acquired
• Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired
• Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports
• Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal
• Capable of evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired
• Capable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors
• Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration
• Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
