Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in field-based commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical power distribution systems.
• Protection & control relays (SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC) and associated configuration software.
• Relay testing equipment such as Omicron and/or Doble test sets.
• Low- and medium-voltage switchgear, breakers, and electrical control circuits.
• Interpreting test data, assessing equipment condition, and producing clear technical documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 80% domestically.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Installing, testing, commissioning, and starting up LV-MV power distribution equipment (480V–38kV) including switchgear and breakers.
• Performing hands-on commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of protection and control relays (SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC).
• Using test equipment and software (Omicron, Doble, relay config software) to validate system performance.
• Supporting greenfield and brownfield projects through commissioning, maintenance, emergency response, and troubleshooting.
• Analyzing test results, documenting findings in field reports, and assessing equipment condition.
• Collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to provide technical support and training.
• Traveling extensively to job sites across the U.S. to support field execution and project demands.
