Job summary

Araceli Biosciences seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair Endeavor imaging systems at customer sites. You will travel up to 70% across the East Coast and to Tigard, OR, supporting scientists and labs with complex microscopy equipment.

You will document service activities in our CRM, collaborate with engineering teams, and help improve service procedures to keep instruments running with high uptime.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, physics, CS or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years' hands-on field service experience in the life sciences industry.
• Experience with microscopy or complex optical instruments preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex cellular imaging microscopes and related equipment in customer laboratories.
• Work directly with scientists to maximize instrument availability and uptime.
• Diagnose hardware, software, firmware, networking, and OS issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and software teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and follow support practices.
• Log usage and files from each installed system in Salesforce and Confluence.
• Document service activities and technical issues for traces and knowledge sharing.
• Help refine installation, repair, and service procedures.
• Recommend process improvements to improve service quality.
