Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a technically minded Service Engineer in the Los Angeles area for a 12-month contract. You will join a field-based service team, becoming a SME on a new service management platform while supporting engineers during the transition and traveling to client sites as needed.

The role provides hands-on service for diagnostic imaging equipment, with a 1st shift, 40 hrs/week schedule and opportunities for progression into a Customer Service Engineer role after the hyper-care

Qualifications

• Associate degree; 2+ years of military experience.
• Biomedical/med tech hands-on experience is preferred.
• Strong customer communication skills and ability to interact with clients.
• Technical acumen to understand software, support peers, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Become SME on the PACE platform and support engineers with documenting work and tracking parts.
• Coach and support Customer Service Engineers across zones to build proficiency with the new software.
• Provide hands-on support during the 30–90 day hyper-care period after platform launch.
• Service, install, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot imaging equipment at customer sites within the metro area.
• Represent the organization professionally as a field engineer, with flexibility for varying shifts and overtime.
