Job summary

Routeware, Inc. seeks a hands-on technician to install computer hardware on large commercial trucks across the UK, with substantial travel. You will troubleshoot installations, support the Technical Support Team, and manage shipments and RMAs while keeping records accurate and up to date.

The role requires motivated, adaptable individuals with strong communication skills, experience in electronics installations, and a collaborative mindset. Full-time position based in the UK with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience installing computer systems in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Proven track record of high-quality electronics installations.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Install computer hardware on large commercial trucks.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve them promptly.
• Provide technical assistance to the Technical Support Team.
• Prepare customer shipments including light assembly and data logging.
• Process RMAs and manage paperwork/record keeping.
• Repair unit hardware & software; communicate issues to engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.
