Job summary

Darwin Chambers Company, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to service stability chambers nationwide. The role involves repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance, building lasting customer relationships under the Director of Service Operations.

Travel up to 5 days a week across the contiguous US, with weekend work as needed. Candidates should have technical training in refrigeration/electronics, and a valid driver's license; EPA 608 certification preferred but can be obtained on

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in refrigeration, mechanical or electronic tech.
• EPA 608 universal certification preferred or obtainable on the job.
• Associate degree or vocational training required.

Responsibilities

• Travels the contiguous United States up to 5 days a week. Some weekends as needed, independently and/or with a team member.
• General understanding of functionality of all chambers.
• Troubleshoots existing products for electrical and/or mechanical failures yielding a solution to the client.
• Executes Calibrations and Preventive Maintenance in the field per SOPs.
• Completes service reports and related documentation using Salesforce, Microsoft 365.
• Maintains cleanliness of worksite while servicing stability chambers.
• Assists in Quality Control under direction of QC and Service Managers.
• Communicates daily with the Director of Service Operations, and team as needed.
• Completes expense reports on time.
• Performs reach-in installations and provides customers with formal training.
