Job summary

ESPEC North America is seeking a Field Service Technician I to troubleshoot and repair environmental test chambers at customer sites. The role requires strong critical thinking, meticulous documentation, and the ability to travel regionally and internationally as needed.

The technician will calibrate systems, read schematics, perform maintenance, and ensure compliance with quality standards while maintaining professional interaction with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in refrigeration preferred.
• Familiarity with brazing/soldering/welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Experience with refrigerant charging and recovery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Email.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate service to ENA/ESPEC equipment per ISO/IEC 17025.
• Conduct on-site training for customers on operation and maintenance.
• Repair and adjust refrigeration, electrical and control systems.
• Configure and calibrate controllers and recorders.
• Coordinate on-site activities and supervise contractors on large installations.
