Job summary

A leading clean energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their Raleigh, NC team. This role involves installing and maintaining electrical equipment such as inverters and EV chargers, diagnosing technical issues, and providing customer support. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and have over 4 years of field service experience. Qualifications

  • 4+ years of field service experience with electrical systems, preferably in renewables.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics and electrical protection devices.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Hands-on skills in electrical assembly, wiring, and equipment testing.

Job description

Our Client is accelerating the transition to sustainable energy with advanced solutions for microgrids, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure. They are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join the team in Raleigh, NC to build, test, and service the systems that power the clean energy future.

What You’ll Do
  • Install and commission electrical equipment, including inverters, switchgear, and EV chargers.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on microgrid and EV charging systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field.
  • Provide on-site customer training and technical support.
  • Work in our factory to assemble, wire, and test systems prior to shipment.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
