Job summary

Fike Corporation seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to act as a technical representative across Europe. You will perform commissioning, preventive maintenance, testing and repairs on explosion protection systems, while diagnosing faults and delivering on-site and remote support.

The role requires strong engineering skills, the ability to read schematics, and fluency in Swedish and English, with travel of 80–90% and a valid European driving licence.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics, automation or related field.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with technical aptitude.
• Fluent Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Valid European driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning, preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections, testing and repairs on Fike explosion protection systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose technical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Build strong, professional customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and technical documentation.
• Plan and manage your own schedule, including travel, accommodation and customer visits.
• Travel extensively across Sweden, the Nordics and mainland Europe.
