Job summary

Fike Corporation in Europe seeks a Field Service Engineer to be the face of Fike at customer sites, delivering hands-on service for explosion suppression and isolation systems. You will travel extensively across Spain and mainland Europe and, when home, complete admin tasks and reporting from a remote office.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical and controls know-how, the ability to read schematics, and clear communication with customers. European travel (80–90%) is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in electrical, mechanical, or similar engineering discipline.
• Experience welcome but open to newly graduated candidates with a technical degree.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility to work independently.
• Proficient with Windows, Gmail, Word, and Excel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Valid European driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, preventive and reactive maintenance on Fike explosion vent systems at customer sites across Spain and other EU countries.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Plan and manage your own schedule, including travel and accommodation.
• Travel frequently across Spain and mainland Europe; participate in emergency call-outs.
• Ensure compliance with Fike SHEQ policies and regulatory requirements.
