Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to perform on-site field service at customer sites and provide remote support as part of the Global Services Team in Plano, TX. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of field support servicing complex X86 systems and parts preferred.
• On-site customer service experience is essential.
• Hands-on experience with servers (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP) is required.

Responsibilities

• On-site and remote troubleshooting of complex server issues in enterprise environments.
• Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and timely maintenance actions.
• Escalate and resolve issues quickly with internal teams (TAM, Service Manager, Product Manager).
• Provide 2nd line support to resellers/distributors in all aspects of customer support.
• Train new service engineers and share fault triage information and materials.
• Travel to field sites as needed (up to 25%).
