Job summary

TANN Corporation is a world leader in design, manufacturing, and maintenance of air pollution control equipment. We seek a Field Service & Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial air pollution control systems.

This role combines in-house assembly and field service, with travel to customer sites. Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, customer focus, and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and testing.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with PLC/HMI and VFDs.
• Willingness to travel domestically (Canada/Mexico).

Responsibilities

• Shop: Assemble and wire panels to UL508A standards.
• Shop: Wire pressure switches and transmitters enclosures.
• Shop: Electrical wiring of equipment and panels; install conduit.
• Shop: Install instrumentation tubing and gas/air piping; inspect components.
• Field: Provide service on regenerative thermal oxidizers and related equipment.
• Field: Commission RTOs and perform vibration analysis, balancing, and thermal imaging.
• Field: Perform electrical/mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Field: Generate reports and training for customers; coordinate with technical team.
