Job summary

OptraSCAN is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the design, deployment, and ongoing service of digital pathology scanners and related imaging products. The role involves travel to customer sites for installation, calibration, demonstrations, preventive maintenance, and post-sales support.

The candidate will collaborate with R&D, Software, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Sales, and Service teams to ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction, while adhering to

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in medical devices or biomedical instrumentation.
Experience with installation, servicing, calibration, or field support of medical devices is preferred.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Support design, development, testing, validation, installation, servicing and continuous improvement of medical imaging products.
Perform hardware integration, calibration, verification, validation, and system testing.
Diagnose hardware, software, and system-level issues and coordinate with engineering teams for timely resolution.
Deliver on-site technical support, troubleshooting, servicing, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Provide product demonstrations and customer training; collect field feedback for product improvement.
