Job summary

Roche Holding AG seeks an Associate Field Engineering Specialist to travel within the Portland, ME and Augusta, ME area, installing, repairing and maintaining Roche Diagnostics equipment for customer labs.

You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance and support customers with technical issues while documenting all activities and reports for quality compliance. Travel up to 20% is required in this Maine-based role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and technical training or military equivalent.
• 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical or electrical systems.
• Engineering degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment.
• Identify and analyze problems, escalate when necessary.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance per policy.
• Monitor customer equipment performance and respond to issues.
• Provide routine technical support and operator training.
• Document service reports and customer communications accurately.
