Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support diagnostic equipment, installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance in the Fayetteville, NC area, with remote coverage for Raleigh/Durham.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree, 1 year of hands-on repair experience, and willingness to travel; you will log service records, use Salesforce and SharePoint, and train newer engineers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military/technical training in a related field.
• 1+ year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting complex biomedical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and service records; order parts and use systems like OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint.
• Communicate with internal/external customers and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
