Job summary
Phillips Corporation's Advanced Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) division seeks a Service Engineer to drive customer uptime by leading installation, integration, and maintenance of hybrid manufacturing systems and CNC tools. You will diagnose complex electromechanical issues and provide right-first-time service on Haas CNC controls and automation subsystems.
This field-based role requires strong communication with customers, mentorship of technicians, and precise documentation.
Qualifications
- Advanced Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting.
- Strong diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- CNC controls and automation knowledge preferred.
- Hands-on Haas CNC controls, tooling, probing, automation, and peripherals.
- Customer-facing communication skills and ability to explain complex issues.
- Prior experience with service management or CRM systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, integration, and maintenance of hybrid manufacturing systems and CNC tools.
- Provide right-first-time troubleshooting and on-site/remote support.
- Collaborate with applications teams and suppliers to resolve engineering challenges.
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain meticulous documentation.
- Uphold safety and deliver reliable technical service to customers.
