Job summary

GreenGenUK, part of the Hometree Group, seeks an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Service Engineer to service and maintain heat pump systems across Devon and Cornwall. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and optimise performance, while liaising with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service.

The role offers a £35,000–£45,000 salary equivalent, 40-hour week, paid travel time, and opportunities for overtime and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plumbing and heating is required, Level 3 preferred.
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification is a must-have.
• Strong knowledge of domestic wet central-heating and hot-water systems.
• Good electrical and controls-based fault-finding ability.
• Ability to interpret manuals, wiring diagrams and system schematics.
• Professional attitude with high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned annual servicing of air source heat pump systems.
• Attend breakdowns and investigate reported faults.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and controls fault finding.
• Repair or replace defective system components.
• Commissioning checks following installations or remedial works.
• Provide customers with practical advice on using their system efficiently.
